About Us
The president of Exact Match Wood Touch-up Rick Seitzinger started his career repairing and refinishing wood surfaces more than thirty years ago. As a boy, his passion carried over to the school shop class where he assisted the teacher in teaching his classmates the art of woodworking. He later went on to additional training under skilled European craftsman who practiced “old world” restoration. These techniques learned were highly regarded for their uncompromising quality results. Few people today know these trade secrets.
 This training led to a 30-year career in furniture repair and refinishing and eventually to the invention of the Exact Match Wood Touch-up Kit.
Our Exact Match Wood Touch-up Kit was created out of a constant need to mix exact colors to “touch-up” scratches and nicks. Sometimes it would take twenty minutes or more to come up with the correct color to repair the piece. Naturally he started premixing his colors in order to save time. The idea came to produce a furniture repair kit that has many premixed colors that anyone can use to get high quality repairs. This was the start of Exact Match Wood Touch-up.
The Vice President of Exact Match Wood Touch-up Don Burch started his career in marketing and sales in the process control industry. His “never quit” attitude and knowledge of many industries and marketing has allowed us to proudly offer you the Exact Match Wood Touch-up Kit.
